The Benefits of Stress

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

The Benefits of Stress

Anyone who read ‘My Story of Survival’ knows that the stress factor has been HUGE in my ROBYNlife. That’s why I am so happy to have come across this book by Robyn Spooner. The difference between ‘The Benefits of Stress’ book and others is that Robyn does not talk about ‘managing’ stress. She talks about ‘utilising’ your stress to come to a better, less stressful existence.

I’m jazzed about her book! You can check it out for yourself on Amazon.

Let’s get this out of the way first. The title irked me. I hadn’t benefited from stress. My whole life fell in a heap because of stress. Benefiting from stress?

I cannot explain how or why, but as I kept reading the wisdom and insights and personal stories .. the dots connected.

I was convinced that I was ‘on top’ of my stresses, managing them very well, and dealing with them in appropriate ways. I’ve been through major stresses in my life and I’ve learned to deal with stress to make them manageable.

And then it hit me. These unavoidable stresses in one’s life; you can actually minimise them! Or maybe even get rid of some, or most of them, altogether. It is because of how Robyn looks at stress and deals with it in such a wholesome way that I started, despite my initial reluctance, appreciate the benefit of stress.

Wow, that was a real eye-opener to me.

Thank you Robyn, for such an informative guide with practical steps for improvement. I will print out your six daily success rituals and stick them on my bathroom mirror.

This is the first day of a whole new beginning for me.

Robyn Spooner is a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner who lives in a leafy suburb of Brisbane, Australia. She enjoys a holistic approach to wellbeing, knowing that humans are complex interconnected creatures with a great capacity for growth, awareness, healing and love.

For over ten years Robyn has helped women who are overwhelmed with stress and suffering from compounding health issues, to relax and gently release their emotional baggage. When savvy women become empowered to focus on fulfilling their true purpose, they are naturally inspired to enjoy happier and healthier lives that are more productive. Robyn’s clients benefit from gentle effective methods that focus on holistic wellness and the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle.

Robyn became interested in natural therapies when she suffered Chronic Fatigue for many years after exposure to lead followed by a bout of glandular fever and found no answers within the conventional medical world. Frustrated by the lack of helpful information, Robyn searched for relief through years of fatigue and food intolerances, and was amazed at the efficacy of the natural therapies, particularly BodyTalk.
Today, many years later, she is a certified practitioner, able to help others who are looking for ways to manage stress.

‘The Benefits of Stress’ evolved from Robyn’s search for commonsense answers about stress related healthcare issues. This book is intended to provide information that empowers people on their self-care journey.

“I love to help people who are inspired to strengthen their mind, body and soul.
In my natural therapy practice I offer a calm sanctuary in the storm of life,
a place to rest, release stresses, restore harmony and revive the spirit.”
