By implementing the principles and truths detailed in this book, many have come to realize the truth that the battle has already been won, and have started living it out on a daily basis.

You can live a life free from the enemy. From the constant attacks on your mind, body, and soul. You do not need to struggle another day with habitual sin. You can be free from it and the shame, guilt, and self-condemnation. As you read VICTORIOUS, you will experience a deeper connection to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

If you were to implement the truth and principles as detailed in Barry’s book it becomes easy to realise that the battle is already won and to start living the victory. We will become victorious once we start living according to God’s truth and are obedient to His Word.

In VICTORIOUS Barry describes the various names that the devil is known by. This makes it easier for us, his readers, to recognise and resist evil. In addition, Barry summarises what the devil stands for  and who he is by saying that ‘Satan is a “spiritual supernatural being who opposed God and continuous to oppose Him and seeks to disrupt the plans and purposes of God’s people and lead them astray and into rebellion against God.”

I like how Barry quotes Scripture verses about the evil one and dissects the meaning of these verses because this makes it easier to recognise what is going on in our daily lives.

With Barry’s guidance, we gain a better understanding of how to see evil for what it is and how to resist evil and fight it with the appropriate verses and tools. Well done Barry I enjoyed reading the first part of your book and am looking forward to reading the rest of it.

Barry Tallis and his wife Dennette are the founders of Nourish Ministries, an organization developed to help peoples’ mind, body, and soul. As a CrossFit coach and owner of CrossFit West Orange, Barry has created a kingdom-focus business to help people grow in strength both physically and spiritually. His desire is to help strengthen the body of Christ through his books and preaching. He just published his first book, STRONGER, and this is his second book, VICTORIOUS.

Barry is a father to his three daughters and one son. He and his wife reside in Windermere, FL. He enjoys sand volleyball, traveling to the Caribbean, and occasionally has some time to establish some new personal records in the gym.
